walking here with a smile. take care.. have a nice day ~ =DRegards,http://www.lonelyreload.com (A Growing Teenager Diary) ..
Thank you for taking the time to make this information easily available.
Thank you for sharing. I have been looking for this a very long time. It is important to know human history in the form of language which are symbols. Human psych is metaphors & symbolism.
Thanks for the comment. Alchemy is a great window on the study of metaphor+symbol, that's for sure.

Thanks a lot my friend this helped me a lot decoding a manuscript, very dear thanks to all those who took the time to do this,God bless you and be well! Also, bernardomfcg if you read this, pleaze email me at Arcanebound@yahoo.com i would be glad to take a look and a shot at your text :)
On the third picture down, the image properties box is half covering one of the symbols. Does it say carbon? because I'm looking for the symbol for carbon or something related.
Pretty sure that one is the symbol for Cancer, as in the astrology sign.
actually its the symbol for moht.
if you try to look behind it, it says the word "moht" which i'm not 100% sure on, but the cancer symbol looks like a 69 really.
The one that's almost completely covered (not the 69 Cancer sign) would be the symbol for Capricorn - ♑. You can only see the very top of it, so it's a bit confusing. These are in the same order as what I have down in my book. Cheers.
The covered word in the first picture actually says "Night," since the ones in each image are in alphabetical order, and it's between Nickel and Nitreflower. Third image, partially covered one is Cancer, fully covered one is Capricorn.
Can you please tell me where can I read more about alchemy symbol for "year"?
Is there any way you could share where you got these images from? There are a few that have info boxes covering the names, and I'd really like to know what they are. Thanks!
The one on the first page between nickel and nitre flower is the symbol for 'night,' while the one covered on the 3rd page is they common symbol for Capricorn. Cheers.
So I have an interest in alchemy can anyone give me more resources? i want to learn as much as possible if so email me firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. thanks ^-^
Could you share the file were you have these images?
thanks for you post, it was very helpful. I was wondering if you could tell me what a certain symbol means that I have been searching for a long time. It is 2 c's facing in opposite directions almost back to back with a small space between them and a single horizontal line through the center of each one. I would greatly appreciate it :)
From the sounds of it it's one of the signs for 'tartar' (probably tartaric acid).
